It's Monday & the NAPCast is back with the ill behavior! Big up to the Alkaline Crew in Kentucky for letting us take over last Thursday! Big vibes in a small spaces, with unsuspecting junglists revealing bass faces. Mission Accomplished! It was awesome to meet so many new people and a great time was had by all! I was in the hunt for future NAPCast submitters, so we'll see what surfaces, and hopefully I wasn't too obnoxious! We'll be looking forward to those mixes and may even have a Louisville invasion of the Mel to repay the favor in the upcoming months!
In other major news, Pride Festival took over Military Park this past weekend and the turnout was huuuuge! Anytime there's an hour wait for a drink, your know the attendance was a success! It was a beautiful day for all of the festivities, parade, and concerts, which included some of our favorites in Fate and Noncompliant on DJ duty! Governor Holcomb's welcome letter gives great insight into the Festival: "Pride has become an excellent opportunity to highlight the many contributions of LGBTQ Hoosiers while also raising awareness of challenges this community faces." It's of the utmost importance to embrace diversity and inclusion in the world we live in, and to promote respect and understanding. This is one of the main reasons the LQBTQ and DnB communities merge so well.
Since today is the second Monday of the month, that could only mean one thing... tomorrow night SCHOOL NIGHT IS BACK AT THE MEL! We've got a solid supportstaff by means of Hollow Point, Gizzmo, Johnny Utah, and Ender up front, with Kiefer Ian, Nahvi, Slo Boi, and Ocean Keys housing you up in the back. All you need now is 2 bucks and a smile to get you in the door! Yes smile required, no bad vibes allowed. Come out and get schooled!
