Greetings Earth Beings! Another glorious weekend is now behind us as Monday meets you with the stank eye. Balance my friends, it's all about that give and take! We gave up some time last week to take away a great experience when the crew mates and I journeyed up to Chi-town. Lenzman touched down with his "Bobby" North American Tour and the vibes were thick as they come. Although the sound system could have improved, Lenzman had the whole room shaking for hours with his unique blends of funk, liquid and good old fashion bass, like a true Drum and Bass Master rolling up his sleeves! Great night for the memory bank!
We're also rolling up our sleeves and flying in some more dope talent for the September Edition of School Night! Keep your eyes peeled for event details to drop this week! 9/10 is the day, which just so happens to be my birthday AND the birth month of our beloved Courtney, so you know there's going to be an appearance of RinTin (noF'sgiven) on the decks, cuz we gonna celebrate! Mark your calendars you won't want to miss dis wan!
The best was saved for last this week, as we have our guy Antik One heading up NAPCast #270 with something fierce. You might now him as Peter Tanasovich, or any combination of his various other pet names. Escaping from the deserts of Arizona, this potential fugitive made his way to Indy some time ago and was one of the founding members of the elite DnB crew known as the NAPDNB. Hive was a big impact to Antik One's drum and bass affliction, which now spans two decades. His mixes and selections tend to roll deep in the jungley thickness, sick heat to move your feets - ya dig? #270 is a fine addition to Antik One's NAPCast Catalogue coming with some fresh flavors and lots of different layers. Peter employs intelligent tactics that keep this mix flowing through ranges of dope beats, rich rhythms, and proper drops & swaps... Guaranteed to test the purest of Junglist Hearts!
